Influenced my numerous bands, OFF MY CHEST plays hardcore, period! In reviews OFF MY CHEST gets compared to bands like RAISED FIST, FC FIVE, GORILLA BISCUITS and ON THE RISE if you insist on a comparison..... Lyrically they try to find a balance between global issues and personal matters. Goal is not only to complain and to be angry but to give you something to think about. If possible approach things in a somehow positive way. "It's oh so easy to release your frustration upon others but take the time to see it in perspective and you might judge differently. However this is all theory and we probably all know the other side of it. But if you have the intention you can make a difference and that's why we must believe. Not necessarily believe in a religious way but just believe in what you're doing and what you want to achieve." So this is what they have to say and this is how they release their tension and frustration!

RENE SG (nl/zwe) bestaat uit zanger/gitarist Rene (op Gibson SG), monsterdrummer RJ SG en bassist Kalle Mattsson. RENE SG speelt een korte set ultrakorte speedartrocknummers.

As friends, Dennis, Chris, Marc, Peter (each former SESAME STRESS), Robin (former KODAMA) and Bas (SUNFIRESOULS) teamed up in 2006 to form the band A NEW HOPE. With their roots in metalcore and screamo the musical direction was set in an early stage.
But when founding the band, they found a new challenge: bringing a spiritual and positive vibe to the scene. As soon as they got together, they skyrocketed into songwriting. While 'Carcrash' being the first song to be send out into the public, beware of more material hitting your way soon...
